Hadassah research teams awarded half of all available funds for grant submission from all national hospitals combined

Hadassah research teams hugely successful in grant submissions.

After recent success with grant submissions to the GIF (German-Israeli Foundation for Scientific Research and Development), Hadassah Researchers are just being notified about their November-December 2014 grant submissions to the ISF (Israel Science Foundation).

The award of 10 individual research grants to Hadassah, as well as 3 other grants that were submitted in collaboration with other research institutions, will see Hadassah receive over 10 million ₪ within the next 3-5 years.

Hadassah researchers are receiving about half of the entire pool of funds granted across all the hospitals combined, reinforcing Hadassah’s position at the forefront of medical research in the country.

There were 5 other researchers from Hadassah that received a very high score from the Fund Committee but due to budget constraints were not successful this round. These groups show promise to be accepted by other funding bodies in the near future.

Congratulations to all the winners from the
Research and Development management team,
we wish you all success in your research activity.
