The Raymond F. Schinazi International Exchange Program (SIEP) funds a faculty exchange program between Emory University and the Hadassah Medical Organization to promote collaborative research and education. Up to two applicants will be funded each year.
Schinazi Faculty Fellowship(s) – up to $25,000 per Fellow; maximum 2 Fellows/year
Emory/Hadassah Research Award(s) – up to $12,500 per Fellow; maximum 2 Fellows/year
SIEP Awards are open to faculty members of any rank from Emory University and Hadassah who wish to visit the partner institution to focus on a specific research project. Applicants must be faculty with at least 50% effort at their home institution, focused on scientific research. Visits can range from a minimum of one month to a maximum of one year, with an optimal duration of three to six months. The SIEP will provide travel and accommodation costs and research funding to support Fellows’ work in their host laboratory. Awards are offered on the condition that the recipient’s home Department agrees to provide continuing salary support as usual.
